RAWR - Saturday, December 5, 2009, 7:36 AM The World In A Radio Never guess any before do, I think it describes me at all. Yeah, I was such a typical like that. I guess anything before I know what is it about. So it was really funny when I like everything that I hated before. Like this one: In my school, there is an extra broadcast. Broadcasting is new in my school, so there were so many students join it. But next week, it decreased A LOT. Maybe it was because 9th grade students won't be able to join extra anymore. Okay, enough saying. I just say this because I want to tell you abut broadcasting problem in next post. As a broadcasters, we must know what is radio about even a little. So we were invited to go to radio station. Its name is Elfara, and it's a teenager's radio station in my town. So, we couldn't refuse for sure :) I joined the second wave of visiting. And it was yesterday, so I could remember how awesome it was to tell. Okay, first, because the leader of extra didn't come we call the leader as "Director", and the vice leader as "Vice Director". Don't know why, I was becoming the VICE OF VICE DIRECTOR WHO BECOMES THE VICE DIRECTOR WHO ACTUALLY IS NOT. Automatically I directed my group to go to Elfara which is so far from my school. Ow, I loved that feeling! When we arrived to the radio station, we had to wait about 3 minutes. Inside, I surprised. I thought the radio station was really boring, BUT IT WAS WRONG! Yes, I'm ashamed. I guess anything before I know what is it about. I saw so many signature of famous artists (that is alas because it's all Indonesian artists only). When we came in, my teacher told me to give a gift to the Program Director of Elfara. After all, we were given the lesson by the Program Director (The name is Evan, no? If I wasn't wrong...) Actually it wasn't lesson, but it was some kind of Q&A or Question and Answer,, From there, I know that radio is INTERESTING!!! Now we know that: - Broadcasting is awesome - Broadcaster isn't easy job - Broadcaster must smart, both in education and self-control - Broadcaster can't be lazy, because there's a rank of it. So if it bad, the wage is low. - Program Director is also Broadcaster! I love that job. And etc. that I can't write. Then, we invited to the studio. This is where the broadcaster saying anything you like. Wow. It has 2 computers, which are we control by SELF. One is about messaging settings, and another one is about music settings. There's a mixer, too. So if we want to chat with another caster in another studio, we only need to mix it :) And another interesting job: Music Director. YES, it's interesting! I know it's hard, but it feels so cool if we make our chart of music and playlist but EVERYDAY. I don't care, it's cool! After the tiredness, we went home. But because my home is really far, I had to wait about a half hour. But my best friend Bellz waited me, of course because we went home together I dropped her and also my 7th grade buddy named Sari was also waiting. We were joking with the seniors in Elfara. They're so funny and awesome. I always remember it :D So there, this is the conclusion: Never guess anything before do.
