RAWR - Monday, May 24, 2010, 7:29 PM Malang Tempo Doeloe - Mask Festival On 23rd May, it was the last day of Malang Tempo Doeloe, celebrated by mask festival performed by the students in many schools in the rest of Malang City. What on earth is Malang Tempo Doeloe? English: Old Times Malang. This moment shown every year to celebrate Malang City Anniversary. This year, this was the 5th. And yes, so many 'traditionalism' over there. Old foods, dances, clothes, money, stamps, and many kinds of that there. Usually, people go there wearing their traditional clothes. Me myself wore 'Batik' and jeans of course. Back to the bottom line, the Mask Festival. Yesh, of course my school joined this parade. And can you imagine, walking over 5 kilometers with spaces every steps? Oh my Gee, so painful. I wasn't one of those, but I also took photo of them so I followed them walking. It was about Kingdom Of Jenggolo and kind of that, the Javanese Kingdom. Barely heard the information. Blah. Tell ya later about the history! These are few of them. Yes, few. More to come. And as my friends pushed me around the seas of human, asking me to his photo, I drawn myself and took photo SO NEARLY TO HIM. And the camera shoot me, maybe. So ta-daa... Got me in! So Kids, never forget the history.
